LTC performs it works in two way. First is to raising and collection of fund for the children from the people, individual, donor, events, fundraising programme, Wills, Gifts, Legacy of Love, and Grants.
Secondly, LTC send the money to the implementing country. LTC is now start works in Bangladesh through local Not for Profit Organization or Community Based Organization (CBO), Church and Para Church Based Organization, Child Based Organization as well as direct implementation with support of Local volunteer team of LTC Bangladesh.
a. Process of Local Organization or CBO Selection or Church Organization:LTC have a due diligence process to select a local Not for Profit, CBO, Church or Para Church organization in terms of their nature of work, history, goodwill and current activities. LTC prioritise the organisation who have the record to work with Women and Children.
b. Process of Selection Children:LTC prioritise the poor, ultra-poor, single parents, children of widow, children who lives under poverty, children who lives in the slum, children with disability or orphan.
c. Payment Procedure: After completing the selection process, LTC directly send money to the CBO or Local Organization or church organization based on their children and budget. We ensure payment of school fees, tuition fees, Uniforms and Other fees based on the receipts. Besides theses, we also pay some staff salaries and other related expenses to the CBO or Local Organization. All type of payment are to the subject of Fund availability. We ensure Transparent and accountability of each coin.
Accountability of Finance: LTC is accountable for each coin. LTC knows that all funds comes from the people sacrifice. LTC have a strong procedure of monitoring and evaluation of finance as well as programme. LTC dedicated team go through the Partner, CBO and Church Organization budget and justify the reality of the budget, then after the approved budget amount may send to CBO/Partner/Church organization. LTC does not like to oversee the CBO/Partner/Church Organization financial system but LTC is very concern to ensure that every coin would be expenses for the proper way for proper objective. LTC ensure the quarterly financial report with programme progress and annual external audit report to justify that all resources including finance has been utilised in transparent and justify and reasonable way.
Monitoring: Monitoring is an ongoing process. It is integrated with the management reporting. The monitoring system will be computerized and managed by the responsible persons. Two ways information flow has been established to ensure timely information for all stakeholders. Using participatory approach monitoring tools and indicators are developed. All stakeholders’ participations are ensured in this regard. Both qualitative and quantitative changes are reflected in the reports. Monitoring information is collected at field level and these are analysed accordingly. Both physical and internal effect monitoring system has been developed.
Evaluation: The program as usual is evaluated once in a year internally. Both project staff and beneficiaries and donors or partners are involved in this process. An independent professional team carries out the external evaluation once in three years as decided by the organization and the donor.
Reporting: Project reporting system has been integrated with the management. Periodical reports are prepared for various needs of different stakeholders. The format and scope of the reporting depends on management as well as donor requirement. The reports are mainly focused at the result level. Project teams help the focal point with their outputs and data to prepare the reports.
